*New Gift Aid Form*
You may recall when your child/children joined the Squadron that you filled in a Gift Aid form to allow the Squadron to claim tax relief on your subs contributions. The HMRC allows Charities to claim 25% on top of subs and donations given to the Squadron and each year this amounts to over £4000 that we can claim back from the Government, without it costing you a penny. All we ask is that those Parents/Guardians who are taxpayers, complete the form and return it to us.
Since the Air Cadets Charity number has now changed, we are required to ask all Parents/Guardians to complete a new form for our files. Please find attached an updated form which we hope you will complete, sign and return to the Squadron as soon as possible.

*Financial Assistance Form*
Attached is a new form which is to be used in cases where financial hardship could be a factor in not taking part in Cadet activities. It was felt that there is a stigma to asking for financial help from the Civilian Committee and therefore, this will make the process easier.
If you wish to apply for financial assistance, then you should complete the form in the first instance and place in a sealed envelope. The envelope should be addressed to the Treasurer and your Cadet can either hand this directly to the Treasurer or place it in the white metal box as they do for other forms.
Please complete the form as early as possible for each activity, as the forms will be forwarded to the Civ Com for consideration and this may take a little time.
